But I didn’t want just a shot of the trees—I wanted to show the river winding through the forest, bringing life and calm to the scene.
The challenge was getting down to the river’s edge. I had to climb over slippery rocks, my camera and tripod heavy on my shoulder. Every step felt shaky, and one wrong move could send me tumbling. But I kept going, making my way carefully until I reached a spot where the river slowed, surrounded by the golden trees.
The water flowed gently, and the forest seemed to hug it close. I set up my camera, steadying myself as best I could, and waited. The light softened, casting a warm glow over everything. I clicked the shutter and captured it—the deep peace of the river inside the Aspen forest, the trees reflected softly in the water.
